Product dimensions:
Our custom made flag stands 11" high. The base is 2.5" in diameter and approximately 3/4" thick. The flag is a high quality 4"x 6" fringed ceremonial flag.
Ceremonial flag:
Our beautiful ceremonial flag is made by an internationally renowned flag manufacturer. We have gone to incredible lengths to ensure your product will be perfect as soon as you take it out of its package. Each flag is individually wrapped. Also, every flag is pressed and mounted to a cardboard backing so that it remains perfect until you remove the packaging materials.
Aluminum base:
Our custom made flags are machined from high quality aircraft grade aluminum. The base alone weighs over 1/3 of a pound.
Anodized finish:
Anodizing is the same process that is used to protect satellites from the harsh environment of outer space. We use the exact same process and offer four standard color options on our products. The anodizing offers a nice color gloss finish, but also allows the aluminum to maintain its metallic appearance.
Anodizing will protect the aluminum parts by making the surface much harder than natural aluminum because it is a reacted finish that is integrated with the underlying aluminum for total bonding and unmatched adhesion. Anodized products have an extremely long life span and offer stability to ultraviolet rays, and do not chip or peel.
Precision Laser Engraving:
Our custom flag bases are engraved by lasers to offer both high quality and exceptional detail. In our process, lasers cut through a portion of the colored anodized surface and expose the treated aluminum.
We have received official approval to utilize each of the military insignia and have gone to great lengths to reproduce these images in the finest of detail.
